President: Ismail Buyukakan
Born 1952 in Corum, Turkey. He finished Ankara Ataturk Lycee, has got a Mag.Art degree in sociology from Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Oslo. He’s worked as vicar teacher, journalist in press and radio, interpreter, translator, printing worker, salesman, clerk, letting agent, cleaner. He has authored under pseudonym several books, articles on the organisational and theoretical issues of trade unions in particular and working class movement in general. He works and lives in the U.K.

Treasurer: Mumin Koseoglu
Born 1955 in Bursa, Turkey. Finished secondary education in Bursa and worked in Disk metal union “Maden-Is” before the 12th September 1980 military coup. He was arrested in 1981 and prosecuted in Konca TKP mass trial. Later he’s gone into business and moved to United Kingdom, studied ICT at City University and North London University. He worked as printing worker and manager, computer engineer. He lives in the U.K.


Councillor: Mikail Kaya
Having origins in Dersim, born 1963 in Elazig, Turkey. After finishing Elazig Lycee, he has graduated from Faculty of Economics, Istanbul University and specialised in Money and Finance. He worked as postal worker, bank worker, salesman, meter-reader, letting agent. He was Chairman of Union of Turkish Workers in N.London from 1990 to 1994. He is working as a social advisor in a charitable organisation in London.
